New user here, so I don't know what this app is supposed to look like. Maybe I'm just being stupid, but even so, I figured some "first impression" might be helpful if you plan to improve the GUI of the app.
This is what making a new page looks like on my low res laptop:
Two things I noticed:
1 - The bottom of the editing page is either missing or is cut off, there's no save button or any other tools visible besides the x on the top bar. I don't know if that is normal. But it feels very strange to have so much screen space eaten by the top rounded corners and page title, but then have the editing field run right over the bottom of the visible area.
2 - I can't read all the "helpful" text about formatting my page that shows up when the page is blank. The app doesn't let me scroll, so it just runs off the bottom of the page. I don't know if this is related to the above issue. Regardless, the tips about formatting really should be moved to the side in their own page window, or put into a small help button somewhere. As it is now, I have to make a new blank page should I need to read it.
I couldn't find anywhere else in the app to read the tips besides using the internet wiki, which while helpful also defeats the purpose of downloading the app in the first place. (I downloaded it as an install for offline use while other people use my internet, so of course any help documentation should be offline as well).
Did I do something wrong, or is the interface still a WIP?
Slightly unrelated, but still relevant to the whole low res screen thing:
My eventual plan is to use this on my PocketChip (which is still being shipped, alas) for on the go simple IF story writing, but that device supports an even lower glorious res of 512 x 320 pixels. So I need the Twine editor to support super low res screens for that to work. It seems the current editor is meant for much higher res devices since a lot of screen space is lost to the "rounded corners" of the pop ups. It looks very nice but unless those corners scale with the resolution this probably won't work out well. ;)
